Introduction

A special guidance session on Branding and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) was successfully organized at Gawankar College to raise awareness among entrepreneurs and students about the importance of protecting their business ideas, brands, and innovations.

Presence of Key Guests

The session featured Mr. Pratik Kumar Parashar, Field Officer of MSME and Head of the Kolhapur Center, along with Mr. Vijay Pawar from MSME Training Corner. Also present at the event were Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Seva Prakalp Mangaon President Mr. Ukadwe, and professional speaker Mr. Abhilash Gore, who shared valuable insights and practical knowledge with the attendees.

Welcome and Opening Address

The program began with an introductory speech by Principal Yashodhan Gawas, who warmly welcomed all entrepreneurs and guests. He highlighted that Gawankar College is a professional degree institution, and many of its students have successfully built careers in industries, banking sectors, and multinational companies.

He also spoke about the educational and social contributions of the institution’s Founder President, Dr. Kiranji Thakur, especially in the fields of education and banking.

Awareness on Branding and Intellectual Property

During the session, experts guided entrepreneurs about the importance of branding, intellectual property rights, patents, and trademark protection. They also discussed key topics such as Udyam Registration, business development, import-export opportunities, and industrial growth.

Entrepreneurs from 33 districts participated in the program after completing Udyam Registration, making the session an important platform for knowledge sharing and awareness.
