Academic Year 2024 – 2025

June 2024:

The admission process for First Year students commenced in June 2024. A total of 41 students were admitted to the First Year class.
On 12 June 2024, teaching for Second and Third Year classes began.

July 2024:

On 22 July 2024, Guru Pournima was celebrated in the college. Members of the Local Committee, Assistant Professors, and students were present.
On 23 July 2024, Lokmanya Tilak Jayanti was celebrated in the college.

August 2024:

On 01 August 2024, Lokmanya Tilak Death Anniversary was observed and tribute was paid.
On 15 August 2024, Independence Day was celebrated. Various competitions were organized on this occasion. Members of the committee, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and students were present.

September 2024:

On 05 September 2024, Teachers’ Day was celebrated. On this occasion, students acted as teachers for a day and experienced classroom teaching.
From 07 September to 11 September 2024, the college remained closed on account of Ganesh Festival. Regular academic activities resumed from 12 September 2024.

October 2024:

On 02 October 2024, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti were celebrated. On 10 October 2024, the Saraswati Poojan ceremony was conducted.
Students presented bhajans and cultural performances.
From 23 October 2024, University-level examinations for Third Year students commenced.
From 30 October 2024, the college remained closed for Diwali vacation.

November 2024:

On 26 November 2024, Indian Constitution Day was celebrated in the college.

December 2024:

On 06 December 2024, Bharat Ratna Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Day was observed. Advocate Shri. Saiprasad Naik guided the students on this occasion.
From 24 December to 31 December 2024, the college remained closed for Christmas vacation.

January 2025:

On 03 January 2025, Savitribai Phule Jayanti was celebrated.
From 06 January to 11 January 2025, various cultural programmes and competitions were organized.
On 23 January 2025, NetajiSubhash Chandra Bose Jayanti was celebrated.
On 26 January 2025, Republic Day was celebrated in the college.

February 2025:

On 05 February 2025, the Udaan Festival was organized jointly by the University of Mumbai and Deshabhakta Shankarrao Gavankar College of Commerce.
On 19 February 2025, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated.
On 22 February 2025, a Free Eye Check-up Camp was organized.

March 2025:

On 09 March 2025, International Women’s Day was celebrated, and guidance was provided by resource persons.
From 18 March 2025, internal examinations for Third Year students were conducted.

April 2025:

From 01 April 2025, internal examinations for First and Second Year students were conducted.
On 14 April 2025, Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated.

Commencement of Next Academic Year:

The College Development Committee unanimously resolved that the next academic year will commence from 12 June 2025.
